“What do you mean you don't invest over the phone? The Cuban Missile crisis was solved with a phone call.” – Neal Caffrey

Highlights

The Con

Peter poses as Charles Fairweather, a history teacher, on the phone during Neal's audition.

Interesting Facts

When Peter checks his email for information on Avery the Stock Exchange manipulator, there is an email from the "Law and Order Production Office" ("Law & Order" (1990) being a popular detective series). The email he actually checks is seemingly an update on his student loan interest rates, nothing to do with the case.

Having a comic book worth a car is not an exaggeration. The most expensive comic book is Action Comic #1, the first comic to feature Superman, and is valued to be worth anywhere from $500,000 to $1 million dollars.

When Neal and Peter are locked in the safe, Neal passes out in less than a minute. Most people can only hold their breaths for around 45 seconds. Deprived of air, you will pass out and remain unconscious until your brain receives oxygen again.

The Amber Room did exist in the Catherine Palace until the Nazi's looted it during WWII, but there is no music box associated with it.
