White Collar "Company Man" Nitpicks

Season 2, Episode 8 Air Date: August 31, 2010

When you watch a program over and over, you start to notice minor continuity issues, plot oversights and other goofs. This page is not intended to be a criticism aimed toward the show or anyone who works on White Collar. They produce a great show and should be proud of their work. That's why I titled it "Nitpicks" because to nitpick means "to be overly critical or criticize minor details." If it bothers you, please don't read them. This page is intended to be for people who love watching something and going "I never noticed that..."

Strange Sleeping Arrangement: How would expense reports show that the two shared hotel rooms on the weekend? First, they shared so only one would pay for the room, right? Unless they went Dutch treat, which is so wrong. If that was the case, you'd think they'd would simply alternate paying every other weekend. And why rent a hotel room anyway? Do they both live with their parents?

Easier Than it Sounded: Peter went on and on about how hard it was to get into Kent's office. Yet, Jessica managed it. How did she get the key card anyway? After the secretary "lost" it the first time, you'd think she'd be more careful with it.

Novice Nonsense: The company's name is spelled novice. which is pronounced with a long O sound, not short o. At dinner, Peter says he recognizes the Latin meaning of the word. Novice is Middle English, not Latin. The Latin word is novicius. They way it is pronounced on the show, it sounds as if the name was supposed to be Novus, which is also Latin and pronounced with a long O. I think that Novus was not cleared to be used on the show.
