"As You Were" Episode Guide

White Collar As You Were
Season 3, Episode 8 Air Date:July 26, 2011

The episode begins with Neal returning to his apartment, only to find Sara waiting for him in order to break off their relationship. He lets her go with minimal argument. Later, Neal informs Peter of the break-up as they are heading to the surveillance van where Jones and Diana have been keeping watch on a suspect all night. Jones heads home, where he is ambushed by a man dressed in black. A fight ensues, and the attacker escapes.

Jones believes that the attacker was after a postcard sent to him by an old friend, Jimmy Wilson. Jimmy and Jones were in the military together, before Jones left to attend Harvard Law School. Now Jimmy is working for Barrett-Dunne, a private military-for-hire company.

Neal examines the postcard and discovers a microdot hidden under the stamp. On the microdot is a schematic of the palladium mine that shows a hidden annex not listed on the official maps. Peter believes that Barrett-Dunne is secretly exporting palladium to China and India in order to avoid paying taxes on it. But in order to be sure, they need to find Jimmy.

Peter has the FBI search for Jimmy, which leads them to Jimmy's wife (and Jones's ex) Isabelle. Unfortunately, before the FBI can get to Jimmy, Barrett-Dunne nabs him. In order to save him, Neal must go undercover as a high ranking Naval Commander in order to get inside Barrett-Dunne.
